What I Wore : A Beach Wedding

What I wore:

Dress -Miss Selfridge

Sandals - Forever New

Clutch - Miu Miu

Ring - YSL Arty

Sunglasses - House of Harlow

I loved how the 3D sequin and flower details matches my sandals from Forever New. These sandals were bought at DFO at almost 70% off the original price. I couldn't be happier! It was perfect for a beach wedding. You wouldn't want to walk on sand with your 5 inch stilettos, you will end up taking them off, trust me.

It was such a windy day during my friend's wedding. My curls were blown straight within 10 minutes! Not only that, I kept on eating my own hair and it was not pleasant at all...

Luckily for me, I mastered an updo tutorial I watched on YouTube a few years ago. All you really need is an elastic headpiece and volumized hair. Thanks to the wind, my hair was volumized and updo ready! Haha.

Twist all your hair outwards part by part and you get a clean and easy hairdo within 2 minutes! :)

Throughout the whole trip,  my poor boyfriend had to take my pictures. I obviously couldn't bring my usual photog friends along this trip. It took him 2 days to

master

semi master how I like my photos to look like. I have to say I really like these set of pictures and kudos to him for being so patient with me.

Travel {Hua Hin} : A Destination Wedding

This is my first time attending a beach wedding and I gotta say I loved it! The whole ceremony and reception was so, so beautiful. I loved how it was so intimate and personal. The bride and groom even had time to mingle around with their guests. Most weddings, we can only greet the bride and groom after the event is over.

The theme of the wedding was peach and grey. If you noticed, the groomsmen had a starfish as his boutonnière instead of a flower. I thought that was really creative and original. Don't get me started on the beautiful lanterns and ribbons hanging on the big willow looking tree. During the day it was already  pretty, but once the sun set and the lights came to live, it was even more beautiful. Le sigh.

I am really glad and happy to be a part of this wedding. Thank you to the gorgeous couple who invited me and the boyfriend to celebrate their special day on such a beautiful island resort.

Looking forward to another close friend's beach wedding at the end of this year! *beams!*

Travel {Hua Hin} : A Little Bit of Everything

All the pictures above pretty much sum up my short trip to Hua Hin for my friend's beach wedding (blog post on it coming up shortly!). It was a surprisingly relaxing trip considering we were attending a wedding. The whole time we chilled by the pool/beach with a cocktail or a refreshing coconut drink in hand.  Either that or we were having a massage at the hotel's spa.

I love chilled vacation like this, even though it was short, it was definitely sweet.
